I have got to know the current volunteers through the Nice Bites meal project which is run most Tuesday’s during term time providing a sit in or take away 3 course meal at a very reasonable price <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also recent rennovations have been completed <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leadgate Salvation Army<\/a> will be 100 years old in June 2024. Watch out for details of their celebrations as they finalised <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Must be early 50’s I think. That’s me, John Ashcroft on trombone. Lance Pickering, seated, was band leader. Other names; Les Pickering, Ken James, Alan Smith. Denis Greener, Cyril Ashcroft, Joe Day, Freddie Barker, Bert Pickering. Maybe someone can\u00a0complete the set, as it were!! Thank you for sharing this photo.
