Judging by the cars its gonna probably be mid 60’s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To the right of the photo you can see a shop second from the end of the terrace, owned by John & Margaret Gordon I believe, they subsequently bought the house on the end of the terrace and redeveloped the two properties into a shop and laundrette with living accommodation above.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some years after that when the Queens head had laid semi derelict for some time, John & Margaret purchased it and converted it into an antiques and curios shop with a large flat above, there they lived into retirement. John & Margaret were known to almost all in Leadgate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
