Today is the Miners Gals (“Big Meeting”) in Durham
Again this year there will be no Eden Colliery Banner marched in
One day it would be wonderful to see a reproduced banner be produced, the current ones are too fragile to be marched
Cost and “storage” are issues but would it not make a great project for all ages to get involved in

Anniversary of the final closure is 18th July (closure of Stoney Heap was 18th July 1980)
