Where the old sawmill was up the tub line to see stables my father had early 1940s.

This one was opposite Watling Bungalows when through to Leadgate Bridge opposite Coop stores ,also was called the heaps,
There was a garage can’t remember man who owned garage but it was Watling garage .
I think the The Cricket Club Is round that area, also just below were Stockdale house .
Also KNOWN as the Pit heaps.
Anyone who lived around Pont and First Street Watling Bungalows in the sixties would know where I mean
